Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective: 13 August 2026 Last updated: 13 August 2026

The short version

I collect what you type into a form on this site — your name, email address, mailing address and phone number — so I can send you what you asked for and stay in touch. I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with advertisers.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those points.

1. Who this policy is from

This site and the Nourishment for the Soul app are operated by RhondazStyle LLC ("I", "me", "we"). If you have a question about anything on this page, there is a contact form at the bottom, and a real person reads every message.

This policy covers rhondazstyle.com, the Nourishment for the Soul web app, and the iPhone and Android versions of that app when they are released. Some links on this site lead to rhondasampson.com, which is also mine and follows this same policy.

2. What I collect, and why

Everything below is information you choose to give me. Nothing on this list is gathered without you filling something in.

First and last name
So I can address you as a person rather than an email address.
Email address
To send you what you signed up for, and to reply when you write to me.
Mailing address
To send physical mail, event details and occasional printed material. This is optional — leave it blank and everything still works.
Phone number
Always optional, and never required for anything. Leave it blank and every part of this site and app still works — you can sign up, buy the prayer book and use the app without giving me a number. It is there so I can reach you about a booking, an order or an event. I only send text messages if you separately tick the box asking for them, and you can stop those at any time by replying STOP. See the Text Message Terms.
Your text message consent
If you tick the text box, I keep a record of it: the date and time, the exact wording shown to you, the page you were on, and the number you entered. That record exists so both of us can establish what was agreed.
What you're interested in
When you join a waitlist, the form records which thing you were waiting for, so I tell you about that and not everything else.
Anything you write to me
Messages, speaking enquiries and questions. Kept so I can answer you and pick up the thread later.
Your details before a purchase
When you buy the Prayer Book you give me your name and email before going through to Stripe, so I know who bought and can help if the download goes astray. A phone number there is optional. If you change your mind and never complete the purchase, I still hold what you typed — ask me and I'll delete it.

Please don't send this Please do not put sensitive personal details into a form on this site — health information, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or anything about a child. These forms are not built to protect that kind of information, and I do not need it.

Information collected automatically

I do not run analytics, advertising trackers or third-party tracking cookies on this site. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it goes live and the date at the top will change with it.

My hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, which pages were requested and when — which every web host does as a matter of security and troubleshooting. I do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

What the browser stores on your device

The site and app use your browser's local storage rather than tracking cookies. It holds things like whether you have dismissed the install prompt, and — inside the app — your journal entries and progress. This data lives on your device and is not transmitted to me unless you turn on syncing. Clearing your browser data removes it.

3. The Nourishment for the Soul app

The app deserves its own section, because it is where the most personal material lives.

By default, nothing you write in the app leaves your device. Journal entries, prayers, soul check-ins, saved scriptures and journey progress are stored locally. I cannot read them. Nobody can, because they are never sent anywhere.

If you create an account and switch on syncing, that content is copied to a secure database so it can follow you to another phone or tablet. Syncing is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off again. The database enforces, at the database level, that only your own account can read your own entries — this is not a promise about how carefully we behave, it is a rule the system itself will not break, and it applies to me too. I cannot read your journal.

Deleting an entry inside the app destroys its content rather than hiding it. A record that it existed remains briefly so the deletion can be carried across to your other devices, but the words themselves are erased.

4. Who else sees your information

I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent it, and I do not trade it. I have never done so and have no plans to.

A small number of companies process information on my behalf so this site can function. Each is bound by its own agreement to use that information only to provide its service to me.

Formspree
Receives form submissions and forwards them to my inbox. It also stores a copy in my account.
Stripe
Processes payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch my systems — I only ever see that a purchase happened, the amount, and the email address used.
Supabase
Hosts the database behind app accounts and optional syncing.
Email delivery service
Sends the newsletter and the 5-Day Fresh Start Reset. It holds your name and email address for that purpose.
Web hosting
Serves the pages and keeps the standard server logs described above.

Beyond those, I will only disclose your information if the law requires it, if it is genuinely necessary to protect someone's safety or my legal rights, or if the business is ever sold or transferred — in which case you would be told before your information moved.

5. How long I keep it

6. Your rights over your information

Wherever you live, you can ask me to:

Send me a message through the contact form and I will act on it. I will not charge you, and I will not treat you differently for asking. I aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are in California

The CCPA and CPRA give you the rights listed above, plus the right to know what categories of information have been collected and disclosed, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. I do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing for you to opt out of.

If you are in the UK or the EU

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your national data protection authority.

My lawful bases are: consent for marketing email and text messages, which you can withdraw at any time; contract for delivering something you have bought; and legitimate interests for replying to your messages and keeping the site secure.

7. Email and text messages

If you give me your email address, I will send you what you signed up for and, from time to time, encouragement, resources and updates. Every message has an unsubscribe link, it works immediately, and using it costs you nothing else — anything you have bought stays yours.

Text messages are separate and entirely optional. I will only text you if you have ticked the box specifically asking for it. That box is never ticked for you, and consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything — you can purchase, join the email list and use the app without ever agreeing to a text message.

Roughly 2–6 messages a month, sent between 8:00am and 9:00pm your local time. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. The full terms, including what I am and am not responsible for when a carrier delays or drops a message, are in the Text Message Terms.

I do not sell or share your phone number, and I do not share your text message consent with anyone else for their own marketing. Your number reaches only the providers who help deliver the messages, and only for that.

Please only enter a phone number that is yours. If you change or give up your number, reply STOP or tell me, so messages do not continue to a number that has been reassigned to someone else.

8. Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details never reach my systems. App accounts are protected by database-level rules that prevent one account from reading another's content.

That said — no website is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. What I can promise is that I keep as little as I need, and that if a breach ever affected your information, I would tell you promptly rather than quietly.

9. Children

This site and app are intended for adults. They are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given me their information, tell me and I will delete it.

10. Where your information is held

RhondazStyle LLC operates from the United States, and the services listed in section 4 store data on servers in the United States. If you are writing from outside the US, your information will be transferred there, where privacy laws may differ from your own.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change materially affects how your information is used, I will tell the mailing list rather than quietly editing the page and hoping nobody notices.

Questions, or want your data deleted?

Say so plainly in the form — you do not need to use any special wording.
